About
Cotswold Wildlife Park has an impressive collection of animals, including rhinos, lions, giraffes, and red pandas. This is one of the few zoo/wildlife parks where you can take dogs, and the beautifully landscaped gardens create a peaceful setting for your walk with plenty of open spaces.
The Victorian manor house sits at the park’s heart and adds a touch of history and charm. The park’s layout makes it easy to explore at your own pace, and there are various animal enclosures and habitats to enjoy.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome all year round as long as they’re on a lead. There are a few areas where dogs can’t go for the safety of the animals, such as indoor enclosures, the Children’s Farmyard, the Reptile House, and the Bat House, but most of the park is open for you and your dog to explore together. Although you can’t take the dogs through the indoor parts, this doesn’t have to be a problem. If you are in a family or group, you can take turns waiting with the dog while the others go in.
Things To See & Do
One of the best things about visiting Cotswold Wildlife Park is the opportunity to stroll through the grounds with your dog, enjoying the sights and sounds of the animals around you. The Woodland Walk offers a quieter, shaded path, perfect for dogs who prefer a more tranquil experience.
You’ll also find picnic areas to sit and relax while your dog takes a break.
