Things To See & Do
Freshwater West’s vast sands are perfect for long walks, energetic games of fetch, and beachcombing. Your dog will love exploring the open space and splashing in the waves. Although the waves can be strong, keep a close eye on your dog when they’re playing in the water.
The dunes behind the beach are great for a bit of adventure, your dog will love the new scents and the chance to explore off the beaten path.
Although they took down Dobby’s Shell Cottage after filming, you can still walk through the dunes and imagine you’re there with Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
Access and Facilities
Freshwater West Beach is accessible by car. Parking is available near the beach, and you may be lucky to get an ice cream/food van.
