About
Broughton Bay beach is a big sandy beach backed by large sand dunes on the Gower peninsula. There is also a small cove at the southern end of the bay.
Swimming can be dangerous due to the tides and undertows but in calmer conditions surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing is possible.
At low tide you can access the adjacent Whiteford Sands beach to the north.
Parking is available at Broughton Burrows to the south end of the bay.
