Gruinard Bay is dog-friendly, and you have four small cove beaches that join up into one big beach at low tide. The coves vary with a mix of sand, rocks and pebbles backed by grass areas or cliffs.

The area is excellent for dog walkers, with the beach and a choice of paths along the coast.

You have a small layby stile pay and display car park across the road from the beach.

The closest facilities are a local shop in the village of Laide.
