Ramsey Beach is a large stretch of sand that spans both sides of the breakwaters and the river mouth.
The northern stretch is the main beach running north of the harbour and away from the town. This Ramsey North Beach is dog-friendly.
The south stretch has the large Queens Pier running out to sea from the middle of the beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are banned year-round on Ramsey South Beach, from the South Breakwater to the Lifeboat Slipway off Queen’s Promenade.
Dogs are allowed all year on Ramsey North Beach.
Access and Facilities
Ramsey is the second-largest town on the Isle of Man and has a working harbour. It has a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
