About
Ramsey Beach is a large stretch of sand that spans either side of the breakwaters and river mouth.
The northern stretch is the main beach running north of the harbour and away from the town. This Ramsey North Beach is dog-friendly.
The south stretch has the large Queens Pier running out to see from the middle of the beach. Dogs are banned on the part of the South Beach from the South Breakwater to the Lifeboat Slipway off Queen’s Promenade.
Ramsey is the second largest town on the Isle of Man and can be busy with a working harbour. It has a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
