Things To See & Do
This sandy beach curves in the bay northwards, away from the harbour and village of Maidens. The expansive sands are ideal for long walks or energetic games of fetch.
A short distance from the beach around the headland at Barwhin Point, Culzean Castle boasts extensive grounds that are also dog-friendly. Leashed dogs can join you as you stroll through lush gardens and woodland trails.
Access and Facilities
Maidens Beach is situated just off the A719, easily accessible with car parking in the village. Buses run regularly to Maidens village from Ayr and surrounding areas. From the bus stop, itโs a short walk to the beach.
