About
The Nene Valley Railway is a heritage railway from Wansford to Peterborough. It takes you through beautiful countryside and past historical sites along the River Nene. Opened in 1847 and later revived as a heritage railway, the line now offers visitors the chance to travel on restored steam and diesel trains.
The highlight of your visit will, of course, be the scenic train ride itself. Your dog can relax by your side as you take in views of the countryside, woodlands, and riverside from the comfort of your carriage.
You can hop off the train at any station and explore the surrounding areas, like Ferry Meadows or Overton Station. Both offer lovely walking paths for your dog to stretch its legs in Nene Park.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome on the trains, except on food services.
