About
Basset’s Cove beach is a small, sandy, rocky beach at the base of sheer cliffs. Like most beaches along this North Cliffs stretch, the beach disappears at high tide. At lower tide levels, you have some nice sand and rock pools to explore.
Many of the coves along this stretch often have seals on the rocks and should be avoided.
Dog Access and Rules
Basset’s Cove Beach allows dogs all year with no seasonal restrictions. If you spot seals on the beach, avoid it.

Access and Facilities
No facilities other than a free car park at the top of the cliffs.
Access down to the beach is steep and can be very slippery.
