Fishing Cove beach is also known as Fisherman’s Cove. The beach is a small, east-facing, dog-friendly sandy beach backed by cliffs, with rock pools at either end. At high tide, you will be limited to a small strip of sand.
The cove is known as a seal breeding ground, and you should avoid the beach when seals and their pups are there; this applies whether you have a dog or not.
The smaller, inaccessible cove to the North is Castle Giver Cove, also known as Smugglers Cove.
Dog Access and Rules
Fishing Cove Beach is dog-friendly, but seals may be on the beach. If seals are on the beach, don’t go for fear of disturbing the seals and any pups.

Access and Facilities
To access, you have a couple of options: to park at Godrevy Head or at Hells Mouth. In both cases, they have a cafe, and you have a walk along the South-West Coast path.
Access to the cove is down a fairly steep path, and the drop can put a lot of people off.
