Our Tips for Visiting with a Dog
Access to Kenneggy Sands is somewhat challenging. This area suffers from coastal erosion, and access used to be via steep steps. Now, you can access the beach with a rock scramble from neighbouring Coules Cove at low tide.
The beach is largely tide-dependent, with much of the sand covered at high tide. Check tide times before you visit to ensure you have plenty of beach to explore and that rising waters don’t cut you off.
