Kit Hill is a 400-acre (152-hectare) country park located in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Located between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, Kit Hill is a wild and rugged granite hilltop with great views, fascinating history as well as its flora and fauna. The views from the top on a clear day take you over the Tamar Valley, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
The park not only has a hill (334 metres high) but also a quarry and mining heritage, including old chimneys and shafts.
