About
Porthglaze Cove is a small cove on the South West Coast Path between Zennor Head and Gurnards Head. You will not set out to visit the beach, but it is one of the many coves along this stretch worth dropping down to whilst on a longer coastal walk. The coast path here can be challenging, featuring steep sections, rocky and uneven surfaces, and several climbs and descents. It’s beautiful, but the terrain requires sturdy footwear and some fitness.
The cove is mostly rocky, and at high tide, there is no beach. When the tide is out, small areas become accessible.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome all year at Porthglaze Cove.
Access and Facilities
As a remote beach, there are no facilities at Porthglaze Cove. Park in Zennor for amenities like toilets, a dog-friendly pub, and an ice cream parlour.
