Trelissick offers 300 acres of countryside to explore, located on a peninsula beside the River Fal. A choice of north or south woodland trails takes you through the trees whilst, at times meeting the water’s edge. You do have a shingle beach on the estate but a point to note this is an estuary/river beach and can be muddy.
An excellent location for dog owners with woodland walks across open parkland with views down the estuary to Falmouth. Please be aware that only assistance dogs are allowed in the house and garden.
The cafe offers a dog-friendly outside courtyard, where you can enjoy light refreshments, hot lunches, and afternoon cream teas. If you visit during bad weather, the cafe opens an indoor seating area where dogs are allowed.
