Crosscanonby Beach is a dog-friendly shingle-and-sand beach, also known as Allonby South Beach. This remote stretch of beach sits in the middle of a long, dog-friendly stretch connecting Maryport Beach and the main Allonby Beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Although Crosscanonby Beach is dog-friendly year-round, it is within the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and dogs should be kept on a short lead between 1 March and 31 July to protect nesting birds at the high-water mark.
