Lanercost Priory is a well-preserved medieval monastic site in Cumbria. Founded in 1169, it housed a community of Augustinian canons and later became home to a branch of the Dacre family.
At Lanercost Priory, you can explore the ruins of this beautiful building, including the full-height 13th-century church and the vaulted refectory undercroft.
