About
Silecroft beach is a large dog-friendly sand and shingle beach with lots of space. Due to the size of the beach, it is very popular for dog walking and horse riding
The beach is on the edge of the Lake District Nationa Park, stretching as far as the eye can see, with the main feature being the 600 metres height of Black Combe fell. From Black Combe it is easy to see across Morecambe Bay and back into the Lake District National Park.
The Cumbria Coastal Path can also be accessed from this beach for those wanting longer walks.
Facilities include parking next to the beach and toilets.
