At Lynmouth, you have a small harbour where the River Lyn joins the sea and dog-friendly beaches on either side.  The western side is a small rocky shingle beach, whilst, on the eastern side, it is a bigger shingle beach with rocks and backed by some grass areas.

A beautiful National Park surrounds Lynmouth with the Exmoor countryside and cliff-top walks, giving great dog walking opportunities and excellent views.

A funicular railway runs to the village of Lynton at the top of one of the hills.

Facilities include parking on the seafront or in Lynmouth, toilets, shops and cafes close by.
