About
Man Sands beach is a large, remote sand and pebble cove south of Brixham, between Sharkham and Crabrock points.
The beach has rocky slopes on either side of the bay, and at low tide you can explore lots of rock pools and coves.
In addition to the beach, there’s a lagoon behind it and, along the beach, an old lime kiln.
Dog Access and Rules
The beach at Man Sands allows dogs year-round. With few visitors, you’ll have plenty of space, making Man Sands ideal for dog walkers and giving your dog room to run and explore.

Access and Facilities
No facilities are available; it is only accessible on foot from either the South West Coast Path or the Man Sands National Trust car park along Woodhuish Lane. The Man Sands car park is about three-quarters of a mile from Man Sands beach, at the top of a steep, unsurfaced track.
