About
Seaton beach is a mile long pebble beach, gently sloping and safe to swim. Although pebble at low tide you do get some patches of coarse sand.
Dogs are welcome all year on the second beach zone and bins are provided.
At the top of the beach is the Esplanade, a flat paved walk 1,160 metres in length stretching from Axmouth Harbour at the eastern end of the bay to the Chine cafรฉ towards the western end. In the winter or when the risk of flooding barriers may be in place meaning you have to use steps to progress along the esplanade.
Parking, toilets, shops and places to eat within Seaton itself.
