Hamworthy Park and Beach is located on the northern shore of Poole Harbour. The beach is a small stretch of sand and pebbles sitting between the entrance to Wareham Channel and Ham Common.

The beach has a small pier called Lake Pier that is popular for fishing.

The beach allows dogs all year round but dogs are not permitted in the play park or paddling pool area.

A small car park, toilets, children’s paddling pool and cafe.
