About
Studland Bay welcomes dogs all year round, but please keep your dog on a lead of 2m or less between 1 May and 30 September. From 1 October to 30 April dogs can be walked on any beach off the lead.
Studland Bay coastline features a four-mile stretch of golden, sandy beach, with gently shelving bathing waters and views of Old Harry Rocks and the Isle of Wight. The bay has designated trails through the sand dunes and woodlands, with opportunities for spotting deer, insects and bird life as well as a wealth of wild flowers.
Knoll Beach Café allows dogs in the outside seating area at the café where there are shelters, water bowls, dog ties and shade.
Studland Bay is a large area and you have multiple places where you can park: Pay and display (free to National Trust members) at South Beach, Middle Beach, Knoll Beach and Shell bay.
