Swanage Bay Beach is heavily restricted during the primary season. From 1st May to 30th September, dogs are not allowed on the central and northern parts of the beach.
However, dogs are welcome on Monkey Beach all year round, which is located at the south end between the old Stone Quay and Swanage Pier.
Outside the summer, the whole stretch of Swanage Bay Beach is open for dogs to explore freely, making it a great spot to visit during quieter seasons. Just remember to keep your dog on a lead in the restricted areas and clean up after them to ensure the beach stays dog-friendly.
