About
Deal Beach stretches along the Deal seafront, split by the Pier, and at the Western end stands Tudor Deal Castle. Deal’s beach is a large shingle beach with wooden groynes, backed by a flat promenade and road. You will also see several small fishing boats pulled up on the beach.
Dog Access and Rules
Deal Beach excludes dogs between 9am and 6pm, 1 May-30 September, on the stretch from Deal Castle to Sandown Castle. Dogs on leads are permitted on the pier and promenade between Deal Castle & Sandown Castle year-round.
