Minnis Bay Beach is in Birchington-on-Sea on the North Kent coastline. The beach is a long, rural sandy bay with rocky and shingle areas, a promenade, and a paddling pool.
The beach is popular for watersports, and the promenade makes for a good non-sandy walk.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are not allowed on Minnis Bay Beach between 1 May and 30 September. If you want an all-year-round dog-friendly beach, then the closest option is just to the east at Grenham Bay or Epple Bay.
Access and Facilities
Facilities include lifeguards and first aid, cafes, toilets, parking, chalets for hire, a picnic area, a pub and a children’s play area nearby.
