Scotney Castle Estate is 780 acres of woodland and parkland as well as gardens, with plenty of walks on offer, including public footpaths and waymarked routes. However, as it is also home to a variety of wildlife and grazing livestock dogs must be kept on a lead when walking on parkland.

Scotney is a great dog-friendly property and dogs are welcome on short leads in the main Picturesque garden, the shop and the tea room. Assistance dogs are permitted in the walled garden and in the mansion house.
