The seafront at Great Yarmouth can be split into three beach stretches, allowing dogs on two.
Central Beach runs between Britannia and Wellington Piers adjacent to Marine Parade and prohibits dogs during the summer season, from 1st May to 30th September.
The South Beach is south of Wellington Pier, runs down to the harbour entrance, and allows dogs all year. The beach is a wide sandy beach backed by grassy dunes and is ideal for families.
The North Beach is dog-friendly and runs northwards from Britannia Pier, then merges with Caister-on-Sea Beach. This is probably the nicer beach for dog owners, as you have miles of sand to explore.
The main facilities are around Marine Parade between the piers, but if you head further north or south, you have quieter beaches but still have access to the wide range of facilities that Great Yarmouth has to offer.
