Hemsby Beach is just north of Great Yarmouth in East Norfolk. It has a wide, sandy beach with grassy sand dunes and rock pools, making it popular with families. Partly because many holiday parks line the coast.
Dog Access and Rules
Hemsby Beach does not allow dogs on the main beach between May 1 and September 30, but that only covers about 100m either side of the main beach entrance, so head further north or south for a year-round stroll.

Access and Facilities
Facilities include parking, toilets, cafe, deckchair hire, lifeguards in the summer months. As you approach the beach, you’ll see great big boulders which were anti-tank blocks, put there during WWII as part of their coastline defences.
