About
Hopton Holiday Village is just outside Great Yarmouth. What makes it stand out, though, is the easy walk down to the beach, which is pretty handy if you’ve brought the dog.
It’s a solid choice if you want a UK dog-friendly holiday that has a bit of everything — sea air, long beach and cliff walks, and space to let the dog run.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcomed with open arms! There’s a dog-friendly beach and restaurant terrace, as well as nearby areas to walk. You can take well-behaved dogs into designated areas of the main restaurant.
What's On Offer
You’ve got all the standard Haven stuff here: indoor and outdoor pools, entertainment for kids, a little shop, takeaways, mini golf and a decent-sized bar.
Things To See & Do
The beach is the big win here. It’s just a short stroll downhill from the site, and if you time it right with the tide out, there’s plenty of flat sand for a run.
Clifftop walks are brilliant in the morning, whether heading north towards Gorleston and Great Yarmouth or south towards Corton and Lowestoft.
Burgh Castle is another visitor option with Roman ruins, an open field, and a decent pub nearby. The path along the water is a peaceful, quiet walk.
Access and Facilities
Getting to the park is easy by car. It’s signposted from the main road, and there’s plenty of parking. If you’re not driving, buses run from Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, with the stop conveniently located right outside the park.
