Blyth beach is situated to the South of Blyth Harbour and includes a promenade and a long strip of golden sand. Dogs can use the beach all year round but the section of beach from the beach access at Beachway to the beach access at the southern end of the Links Road car park, has restrictions between 1st May to 30th September each year.

Facilities at the beach include parking, toilets, beach hut hire, promenade along with more nearby facilities in the town.
