About
Druridge Bay is one of Northumberland’s largest bays, at 7 miles (11 km) long, stretching from Amble in the north to Cresswell in the south.
Northumberland Coast Country Park is a 3-mile stretch situated within the bay, and this part of the bay (the section near the village of Druridge, in the centre of the bay) is owned by the National Trust. You then also get access to a large freshwater lake, woodland, grassland, and the beach and dunes.
Dog Access and Rules
Druridge Bay Country Park and beach is dog-friendly and great for a long dog walk, but be aware that some parts of the country park have livestock, and some nature reserve areas require you to keep your dog on a lead.
The country park has a dog-friendly campsite with tent pitches and hardstanding pitches for caravans and campervans.
Access and Facilities
Parking at various points along the bay by the dunes, right next to the beach. In the Druridge Bay Country Park, you have a visitor centre, cafe, toilets, play area, and car parking.
