Dunstanburgh Castle stands on a remote headland near Craster in Northumberland. It is a great area of the coast to explore, and the castle itself has a twin-towered keep.
Dunstanburgh Castle is reached via a walk from the nearby village of Craster. The 2 km walk is along the rugged Northumberland Coast and crosses working farmland.
A word of caution, although you have hot and cold snacks available, there are no toilets on site.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are allowed but to be kept on a lead.
