About
The Castle in Little Haven is one of those places that feels like it’s been there forever. It’s a proper small seaside pub, nothing fancy, but it does the job with good home-cooked food, decent pints, and a spot to sit with your dog. If you’re in Pembrokeshire and looking for a dog-friendly pub by the coast, it’s a solid choice.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome inside and out, which is handy when the weather’s a bit grim.
Things To See & Do
The best thing about The Castle is where it is. Little Haven Beach is just down the slope, and you can walk right across to Broad Haven at low tide. If your dog loves to run, this is a great spot – big open sands, rock pools to poke about in, and usually a few other dogs to say hello to. Just check the tide times because when it comes in, the beach shrinks fast.
After the beach, The Castle is a good place to sit down and refuel. The food and drink are decent, and if you sit outside, you get a proper view of the bay.
Access and Facilities
Little Haven isn’t the easiest place to park, especially in summer. There’s a small car park near the front, but it fills up quickly.
