About
Nolton Haven Beach is tucked away in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Its sandy stretch, clear waters, and rugged cliffs make it perfect for a dog walk. I’d say it’s not overrun with tourists, so your dog can have some space to roam without feeling crowded.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round, so no restrictions. However, like most beaches, you’ll need to keep your dog under control and make sure they don’t disrupt other visitors. Oh, and don’t forget to clean up after them! There are bins dotted around the area, so it’s easy to dispose of waste.
Things To See & Do
If you’re into scenic walks with your dog, you’re in for a treat. The coastline’s natural beauty offers some cracking views, making the whole area peaceful. There’s a lovely stretch of sand where your dog can paddle and play in the surf. At low tide, you can explore the rock pools together – keep an eye on the tide times so you don’t get caught out.
I’d also recommend exploring the surrounding area if you have time. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs nearby, so you can enjoy some stunning cliff views while walking with your dog.
Access and Facilities
You’ll find it pretty straightforward to get to Nolton Haven. It’s off the B4341, and there’s parking available near the beach. The car park’s not huge, but it’s usually good enough to grab a spot, even in the busier months. If you’re travelling by bus, it’s about a 15-minute ride from Haverfordwest.
Some basic amenities, including toilets in the car park.
