About
The Glenfinnan Station Museum is located at the working railway station in Glenfinnan. The indoor exhibition provides information and stories about the Glenfinnan Viaduct and life on the West Highland, while the outdoor exhibits tell the story of a rural Scottish railway station over the last century.
You also have the Jacobite Steam Train pass through the station and it is a good spot to see the steam train close up.
A good option to combine with a visit to the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Monument.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome in the museum and on the terrace area outside the dining car.
Access and Facilities
The museum has seasonal opening, typically from April through to October, whilst the dining car is open all year round.
There is a small car park, but also, as it is within the station, travelling by train is a good option. For Jacobite Steam Train information, please visit their website for full details: Jacobite Steam Train.
