About
Nanjizal Bay is a boulder beach with some sand and caves to explore. The bay can have strong currents, and with no lifeguards on duty, we believe you should avoid entering the water.
Nanjizal beach never gets busy because it has no facilities and is hard to reach, accessible only via the coast path, with steps down onto the beach. With the lack of sand, this is a stop-off beach to explore while on a longer coastal path dog walk.
The beach just proves that in a very busy Cornwall, you can still find remote, empty beaches.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are allowed all year on Nanjizal Beach.
Access and Facilities
There are no facilities or parking at Nanjizal, you will need to park at either Porthgwarra Beach (Postcode TR19 6JR) or Lands End (Postcode TR19 7AA).
Once parked, you will need to take the coast path. Depending on the pace, the walk would be 30-45 minutes, and the final descent to Nanjizal Beach is via steep steps.
