About
Porthgwarra Beach is a secluded, small beach located within a small fishing village.
Time your visit to Porthgwarra Cove well, as only a small beach is available at low tide, with a collection of interesting rock pools and caves. The main caves were carved by tin miners and fishermen to access the beach.
At high tide, the cove still offers great swimming and snorkelling opportunities, as you can still access the sea from the slipway.
Dog Access and Rules
Porthgwarra Beach has seasonal dog restrictions, not allowing dogs from 1st July to 31st August between 10 am and 6 pm.
Access and Facilities
