About
Porthgwarra Beach is a secluded small beach located within a small fishing village.
Time your visit to Porthgwarra Cove well as only a small beach is available at low tide with a collection of interesting rock pools and caves. The main caves were carved by the tin miners and fishermen to gain access to the beach.
Porthgwarra Beach has dog restrictions, seasonal dog restrictions not allowing dogs from 1st July to 31st August between 10 am – 6 pm.
At high tide, the cove still offers a great swimming and snorkeling opportunity, as you can still get good access to the sea from the slipway.
