The Smugglers Den Inn is a 16th-century thatched, dog-friendly pub located just outside Newquay in Cornwall.
The menu uses the freshest ingredients and, in addition to a traditional menu, always has a specials board. The Smugglers’ is also known for quality real ales and a wide range of wines from around the world.
It can get very busy, and if you want to have something to eat, it is recommended to book in advance and also inform them that you will be bringing a dog.
The pub does close over the winter months after the New Year.

The Smugglers Den Inn is well placed for exploring the quieter side of the Newquay area.
Several excellent dog-walking beaches are within a short drive, including Holywell Bay, Crantock and Porth Joke, along with access to the South West Coast Path for longer coastal routes.
The surrounding countryside also offers peaceful local walks straight from the door, ideal for early morning or evening outings.
