Bolberry Down offers some great coastal walks between Salcombe and Hope Cove, including Soar Mill Cove. Situated along the coast path are earthworks of an Iron Age hillfort at Bolt Tail.
Bolberry Down is home to various wildlife and is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The surrounding wildlife and environment must be disturbed as little as possible. Please keep dogs on leads and keep to the footpaths to ensure minimal disturbance to the delicate grass species, butterflies and invertebrates on the Down.
