Hallsands Beach is dog-friendly all year round, making it a great destination for dog owners.
Things To See & Do
Hallsands Beach is known for its rugged beauty and tranquil setting. The remnants of the old village of Hallsands, which was mostly destroyed by a storm in 1917, add a touch of historical intrigue. This was in part due to the dredging of the shingle beach that protected the village during the late 19th century.
The beach is relatively quiet and less crowded than other beaches in the area, making it a peaceful place to walk your dog. The beach stretches northwards along the coast, allowing for some great dog runs, although it can be affected by tides, so it’s a good idea to check tide times before you visit.
The beach is still used by fishermen, and you will see small boats pulled up onto the beach.
Access and Facilities
You have a small car park by the beach but this can get full early in the day during the peak season. There are no toilet facilities directly at the beach. The nearest facilities are in nearby villages such as Beesands.
