Jacob’s Ladder Beach is approximately 1 mile long and is set in a sheltered bay backed by red cliffs. The beach is mainly pebbles with sand and rock pools at low tide.
Taking your dog to Jacob’s Ladder Beach? Dogs are banned from the immediate area of Jacobs Ladder from May 1st to September 30th, but they are permitted on the west end of the beach starting a short distance from the ladder.
Jacob’s Ladder Beach is named after the wooden staircase that leads down to the beach from Connaught Gardens.
