The Drift is a cafe on the headline that separates the two beaches at Canty Bay near North Berwick, with great views of the bays and out towards Bass Rock. It is a perfect location on finer days to stop off whilst exploring this stretch of East Lothian coastline.
The cafe offers a seasonal menu using ingredients from around Scotland.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are not allowed inside but are welcome when you’re sitting at the picnic tables outside, which have hooks under the seats to keep them safe.
Access and Facilities
Located a few miles east of North Berwick on the A198, it is easily reached by car and has a car park. If you rely on public transport, a bus stop is beside the cafe, making it easy to reach from either direction, North Berwick or Dunbar.
