About
Gosford Sands Beach is located on the beautiful coast of East Lothian in Scotland, just a short drive from Edinburgh. It is an idyllic destination for dog owners seeking a relaxing and scenic spot to enjoy with their furry friends.
Dog Access and Rules
Dogs are welcome on Gosford Sands Beach throughout the year so that you can plan a visit anytime.
Things To See & Do
At low tide, Gosford Sands Beach features a wide, sandy shoreline that stretches for miles, providing ample space for walking and play. At high tide, however, there is limited space available.
The gentle slope of the beach into the water and the generally calm waves make it a safe place for dogs to paddle and swim. Always supervise your dog in the water to ensure its safety.
You do need to be aware that the beach is backed by the A198, and there are no fences separating the beach from the road, so you need to keep an eye on your dog.
Access and Facilities
Car park and toilets at Ferney Ness on the southern end of the bay that splits Gosford Beach from Longniddry Beach.
