About
Fraisthorpe beach is a sandy dog-friendly beach on the East Yorkshire coast and forms part of Bridlington Bay. At this beach, you will have lots of sand as the tide goes out a long way and is great for dog walkers as allowed all year round and lots of space.
Fraisthorpe is quieter than Bridlington beach and the water is shallow a long way out. But, do avoid either side of high tide as you will need to contend with the World War II structures. These structures were once on the cliffs but due to coastal corrosion are now on the beach and in the sea.
It is about a 5km walk from Fraisthorpe to Bridlington but do check the tide times as if they come in the coastal path is a lot longer.
Small car park at end of a single track lane that is charged whilst the dog-friendly cafe and toilets are a short walk from the car park and beach.
