West Quay beach is a dog-friendly beach of sand and shingle tucked behind the Newhaven western breakwater.

Newhaven Fort is located on top of the cliffs with tunnels that lead down to the beach.

Facilities at the beach include parking, a snack kiosk with outdoor seating, and a slipway.
