About
The Artisan is a bar and restaurant in Cow Roast, an equal distance from Tring and Berkhamsted. It is only dog-friendly on a fine, warm, dry day, as dogs are not allowed inside but only in the garden.
The food is based on open-fire cooking in a Mediterranean style and, on Sundays, an extensive Sunday roast menu.

Access and Facilities
It has a large car park on-site and regular bus services stop on the main road just outside.
Just opposite, you have Wharf Lane, and this leads to/from the canal, making this a nice stop-off option if you are out on a dog walk along the canal from either Tring or Berkhamsted.
