About
Church Bay, also known as Porth Swtan Beach, is a dog-friendly beach located on the north coast of Anglesey, facing west and overlooking Holyhead. The beach is a small, mixed rock/pebble/sand beach, backed by cliffs.
The bay is so named Church Bay because of the nearby Llanrhuddlad church, which is visible from the sea.
It can have some surf, but it is also a great place for dog walkers, birdwatchers and wildlife watchers.
