While dogs are welcome on Dymchurch Beach, seasonal restrictions exist between the Martello Car Park and Sycamore Gardens from 1 May to 30 October.
Things To See & Do
Dymchurch Beach is a large sand/shingle beach near local amenities. The beach is backed by a big concrete sea defence and promenade that has steps down to the beach and disabled ramps in places.
Access and Facilities
The concrete promenade has a selection of kiosks, and the central part of the beach has toilets, a slipway for boats, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants from the town.
There are several parking options available near Dymchurch Beach, the Martello car park is the main one on the beach’s western end where seasonal dog restrictions end, or you can have a car park in the centre on the opposite side of the road to the beach.
