The White Cliffs of Dover are high chalk cliffs that look out onto the English Channel on a nice day giving views towards the French coast.

A great location for dog walking, take a walk along the coastal path towards South Foreland Lighthouse. You’ll get a great view of the cliffs and also see the chalk grassland that’s home to so many unusual plants and insects.

If you’re visiting with your dog between 1 March and 31 July, please your dog on a short lead in all areas to help protect ground-nesting birds. Other times of the year dog can be off-lead although look out for signs on gates letting you know where the livestock are and when your dog needs to be on a lead.

The cafe allows dogs in the outside area only.
