About
Blue Dolphin Holiday Park sits on the clifftop between Scarborough and Filey, looking out over Gristhorpe Bay and the North Sea. It is a busy, family‑focused park, but as a dog owner, it works well if you want a base with loads going on and easy access to long coastal walks and UK dog‑friendly beaches in Filey and Cayton Bay.
Dog Access and Rules
Blue Dolphin Holiday Park welcomes dogs in outdoor spaces. There’s a dog-friendly restaurant terrace, and you can take well-behaved dogs into designated areas of the main restaurant.
What's On Offer
You’ve got the usual stuff on site: a shop, takeaways, and a fish-and-chip shop.
Things To See & Do
The best bit of a dog‑friendly Blue Dolphin stay is what’s just off the park. From the edge of the site, you can join the coastal path and walk towards Filey, following clifftop tracks with sea views and chances to drop down to the beach where access allows.
Scarborough and Cayton Bay are an easy drive and give more choice: Cayton Bay for a wilder feel and year‑round dog access, Scarborough when you want arcades, chips and a town walk with your dog padding along the prom.
Access and Facilities
Blue Dolphin Holiday Park is just off the A165 between Scarborough and Filey, easily reached by car. Public transport is possible via buses running along the coast road between Scarborough and Filey, though with a dog and luggage, driving is simpler.
On site, you have toilets, showers, accessible changing facilities at the pool, a launderette, bins and recycling points, plus dog bins dotted along key paths so you are not carrying bags for ages.
