The Papa Westray Hostel is dog-friendly but has limited dog rooms, so it is best to call and confirm. There is a large kitchen and dining room where you can join other guests and share tips on where and what to do on the island.

All private rooms have en-suite shower facilities and there is also a shared room. Outside, the large lawn doubles up as a campsite where campers have access to the kitchen on the hostel.

It is located a 10-minute walk from the Papa Westray airfield, around 2 miles from the ferry pier and acts as a great base for exploring the island. It is also next to the community shop where you can get your supplies.

If you stay on a Saturday then the hostel doubles up as a pub for the evening, often with traditional music.
